WEBSITE TERMS, CONDITIONS, PRIVACY POLICY, SERVICE DISCLAIMER, FINANCIAL POLICY, ACCOUNTABILITY POLICY & TERMINATION POLICY
*WEBSITE CONTACT FORM CONSENT
You acknowledge that general website contact forms are not an entirely secure or encrypted method of communication. You agree not to include highly sensitive clinical details or urgent psychiatric crisis information here.
You also acknowledge that while I am a licensed professional counselor solely in South Carolina, the inquiry or use of this website does not automatically establish a clinical therapist-client relationship or a formal coaching relationship with Jaclyn Begley Counseling, LLC. Formal professional relationships require an initial consultation. On the basis we mutually determine the professional relationship is an appropriate fit, a signed intake agreement via our secure Sessions Health portal will be required.

WEBSITE PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: September 21, 2026
1. OVERVIEW & SCOPE
Welcome to the website of Jaclyn Begley Counseling, LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information obtained from visitors who browse our public website. This policy applies only to data collected directly through this public website (such as contact forms, cookies, and browsing analytics). It does not govern the data you provide once you enter our secure client portal.
2. DATA SEPARATION (SESSIONS HEALTH, HIPAA & LIFE COACHING)
For client management, secure messaging, scheduling, and professional billing, we utilize Sessions Health, a secure, encrypted Electronic Health Record (EHR) and client management platform.
Clinical Therapy Data & PHI: If you are receiving clinical mental health counseling, your Protected Health Information (PHI) is protected under the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). It is governed strictly by our formal HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP) provided during your formal clinical intake process.
Life Coaching Data: If you are a life coaching client, your records are completely partitioned from clinical mental health records. While life coaching is a distinct, non-clinical service, Jaclyn Begley Counseling, LLC maintains strict professional confidentiality regarding your coaching files, goals, and sessions. All coaching communication, agreements, and scheduling are also securely managed inside Sessions Health to ensure the highest standards of data security.
3. SOUTH CAROLINA TELEHEALTH DATA PRIVACY
In accordance with South Carolina telehealth frameworks, any electronic transmission of health-related data requires stringent confidentiality controls. Jaclyn Begley Counseling, LLC ensures that all interactive audio, video, or data communications utilized for clinical teletherapy sessions are conducted strictly over the encrypted Sessions Health infrastructure, preventing unauthorized interception. We do not use public, non-secure platforms (like standard FaceTime or Skype) for clinical services.
4. NON-CLINICAL DATA WE COLLECT ON THIS SITE
When you browse our public website, we may collect minimal, non-encrypted data, including:
Voluntary Information: Names, email addresses, or phone numbers that you intentionally type into a general inquiry form.
Automated Device Data: IP addresses, browser types, and pages viewed, collected via standard analytics tools to improve our site's usability.
Cookies: Small text files saved on your browser to optimize site loading times and remember user preferences. You can disable cookies at any time via your browser settings.
5. HOW WE USE YOUR WEBSITE DATA
We use your non-clinical website data strictly to respond to your direct inquiries, deliver free resources, or optimize the website experience. We never sell, rent, or share your web data or contact information with third-party marketers.
WEBSITE & SERVICE DISCLAIMER
Last updated: September 21, 2026
1. EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY
All content provided on this website—including articles, blog posts, worksheets, resources, graphics, and video clips—is designed strictly for educational, informational, and self-help purposes. It is meant to support personal awareness and is not a substitute for professional mental health diagnosis, medical advice, or clinical treatment.
2. NO PROFESSIONAL-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP
Your use of this website, completion of a contact form, download of free resources, or scheduling of an initial consultation does not establish a clinical therapist-client relationship or a formal coaching relationship with Jaclyn Begley Counseling, LLC. A formal professional relationship is only established after an initial assessment is conducted, an appropriate relationship fit is mutually confirmed, and both parties sign a service-specific contract (either a Clinical Informed Consent or a formal Life Coaching Agreement) via Sessions Health.
3. JURISDICTIONAL DIFFERENCES: THERAPY VS. LIFE COACHING
Jaclyn Begley, LLC offers two distinct categories of services, which are governed by different jurisdictional frameworks:
Clinical Counseling & Therapy: I am a licensed professional counselor solely within the State of South Carolina. In strict compliance with South Carolina state licensing boards and professional statutes, clinical therapy services (including telehealth sessions) can only be provided to individuals who are physically located within the state of South Carolina at the exact time of the service session. Identity and location verification are required at the start of every session.
Confidential Life Coaching: Life coaching is a non-clinical, goal-oriented professional service. Because it is non-clinical, it is not bound by state-level medical board licensing borders, allowing me to provide confidential life coaching services to clients located outside of South Carolina, including outside of the United States. However, life coaching is not therapy, does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental health disorders, and cannot be billed to health insurance.
4. *MEDICAL & EMERGENCY DISCLAIMER
You should never disregard professional medical or mental health advice, or delay seeking professional treatment, because of something you have read on this website. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or crisis, do not rely on this website, electronic portal messages, or any form of social media. Please immediately call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room, or call/text the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988.
FINANCIAL & ACCOUNTABILITY POLICY
Last updated: September 21, 2026
No-Refund Policy
All payments, fees, and package purchases for therapy or coaching services are strictly non-refundable. Accountability and Growth Change requires dedicated action. Growth is not always easy, but it is necessary for internal and external transformation. Your success is your responsibility. As your guide, my role is to support you, challenge you, and hold you accountable in accordance with professional standards and clinical/professional judgment. The level of change and growth you achieve depends entirely on your own active engagement and dedicated effort.
